Beyond jẹ́ digi ọwọ́ tí a rí i mọ̀ láti inú digi ẹ̀gbẹ́ mọ́tọ̀. Digi ẹ̀gbẹ́ mọ́tọ̀ ń ràn awakọ̀ lọ́wọ́ láti rí àwọn agbègbè tí ó kọjá ìríran lásán, àti pé Beyond gbé gbolohun náà O tobi ju bí o ṣe farahàn lọ sára àwọ̀ digi náà. Gbolohun yìí ń pe àwọn ènìyàn láti gbé ẹwà inú wọn yẹ̀wò tí ó kọjá ìrí òde wọn. Ara rẹ̀ jẹ́ igi ash pẹ̀lú ìparí ọṣẹ, digi náà sì jẹ́ pátákó akiriliki tí a fi ẹ̀rọ èésè léèsà ṣe, tí a sì fi ọ̀rọ̀ kọ sára rẹ̀. Beyond Digi Ọwọ jẹ́ olùborí Àmì-ẹ̀yẹ Irin A' Design Award, ìdánimọ̀ olókìkí tí a fún àwọn àwòṣe tó dára tí wọ́n pàdé àwọn ohun tí iṣẹ́ àti ilé-iṣẹ́ nílò tí a retí láti ọ̀dọ̀ àwọn ẹ̀dá tí a ṣàwòṣe dáradára. Àwọn olùborí Irin ń fi ìjáfáfá ńlá, ìmọ̀ pàtó gíga, òye ògbóǹtarìgì àti agbára ìṣẹ̀dá àwọn olùṣẹ̀dá wọn hàn. A retí pé Beyond Digi Ọwọ yóò jẹ́ ẹ̀dá tí a kà sí gidigidi, tí a gbóríyìn fún tí a sì nífẹ̀ẹ́, tó wúlò tó sì ní ìmúṣẹ̀dá tuntun. Àwọn ẹ̀tọ́, àwọn ọmọ ẹgbẹ́ àti àlàyé ìmọ̀ ẹ̀rọ tí olùṣàpẹrẹ pèsè.

Àwọn Ohun Àkànṣe: It is a hand mirror inspired by a wing mirror. Like a phrase on the wing mirror 'Objects in mirror are closer than they appear', a phrase 'You are more than you appear' is marked on the surface of the mirror. It takes people to think about their own beauty inside beyond their appearance. With a generous volume shape on the back, it gives a gentle feeling when they are in hand. The mirror is placed slightly inside so it is protected by a wood rim when it is turned over.

Ìmọ̀-ẹ̀rọ Ìṣelọ́pọ̀: It consists of two parts. The wood part is ashwood with a soap finish and the mirror part is an acrylic mirror with laser cutting and text marking.
Ìpèníjà Àpèsè: It was challenging to create a simple and concise phrase transition from the original one while keeping its essence. It also took a long journey to find a satisfactory volume shape in both situations when gripped by hand and placed on the table. After all, those challenges allowed me to go further than I expected.
Ìwádìí: As this hand mirror is linked to the wing mirror of the car, I tried to find the most general characteristic of the wing mirror. Afterward, the shape was refined through the iteration of sketches and model making.
Ìmísí: One time I got into a car, a wing mirror caught my eye. It helps the driver to see areas beyond the driver’s peripheral vision. I wondered what if a hand mirror also can reflect beyond our appearance.
Àkókò Iṣẹ́ Àkànṣe: The project started in July 2020 and finished in January 2021 in Seoul.
Ìlànà Ìṣiṣẹ́: The ash wood gives natural warmth and lightweight on hand with shock resisting density and hardness.
