אָלקאַ איז אַ האַנטגעמאַכטע ניט-געשטעפטע לעדער טאַש וואָס איז אינספּירירט דורך אירַאנישע בלײַבנדיקע מיגראַציע. זי באשטייט פון 54 מאָדולאַרע שטיקער עכטע קו-לעדער וואָס זענען צוזאַמענגעפֿלאָכטן איינער מיט דעם אַנדערן. דאָס פֿלעכטן ווערט געטאָן דורך שליצן וואָס זענען געשניטן אין לעדער מיט לאַזער. די גרייסן זענען 220 x 220 x 80 מם. דער האַנדל פון דער טאַש איז געמאַכט פון וואַלנוס האָלץ. אָלקאַ מיינט היימלאַנד אין פּערסיש, הײַנטיקע טעג פֿאַרלאָזן אירַאנישע טיניידזשערס און יוגנט זייער היימלאַנד כּדי צו שאַפֿן אַ בעסער לעבן, און מיגראַציע קען מאַכן ריסן אין זייער גײַסט און נשמה אַפֿילו אין זייער גוף אָבער יעדער ריס שאַפֿט אַ סיטואַציע פֿאַר דער באַשאַפֿונג פון אַ נײַעם שיינעם בלום.

- Leather is a durable material, but usually the threads used to sew leather crafts, lose their quality sooner than leather, so creating the seamless leather bags can be effective in increasing its quality. Olka is non-stitched, the modular leather pieces are interlocked together, which increases the speed of production, and if needed for repair, the damaged piece can be easily replaced with a new one. It even gives the possibility to the user to order the bag in separate pieces and make her own.

- The main bag consists of 72 cow genuine leather pieces that are first designed in 2D and 3D in AutoCAD, then cut by laser cut, and the pieces are interwoven together. This bag also has an inner bag that is handcrafted and it is also created from cow genuine leather and can be used separately as a minimal crossbody bag.

- The main challenge in creating this product was whether the final strength of the interlocked components would be equal to the stitching and whether the main bag could be delivered to the customer in the separated pieces, so that she could create the bag herself by interlocking them together.

- In the process of design and creation, research was done in the field of interlocking system, modular system, consumer behavior, DIY products and the migration rate of youth Iranian which finally resulted in the creation of this project.
- אינספּיראַציע
- According to reports of 2022, about 50% of Iranian students and entrepreneurs have desired to emigrate from their country and 62% have not decided to return back. Olka means homeland in Persian language and it was created by the inspiration of Iranian youth who immigrate with the aim of creating a better life. Migration brings mental, emotional and even physical pains, but pain is an opportunity for growth. In this case, every slit provides the basis for creating a new beautiful flower.
