דאָס איז אַ פאָוטאַגראַפיק דאַקיומענטערי פון Wugang, Wuhan יראָן און שטאָל פֿירמע. סופּפּאָרטעד דורך די רוסישע און געבויט אין 1958, די שטאַט-אָונד ווווגאַנג איז איינער פון די ביגאַסט שטאָל פאַקטעריז אין טשיינאַ און אַמאָל סיגנאַפייד די ינדאַסטריאַליזיישאַן און מאַדערנאַזיישאַן פון די מדינה. אָבער, אַזאַ אינדוסטריע ז שטרענג ינווייראַנמענאַל פאַרפּעסטיקונג. דורך כאַפּן די שווער פּאַלוטאַד Wugang קאַמפּאַס מיט סאַמבער בילדער, דעם פּרויעקט ריווילז די באַצאָלט פּרייַז און די קאַנסאַקוואַנס הינטער די כבוד פון מאַדערנייזיישאַ און עקאָנאָמיש וווילטאָג, פּראַוואָוקינג די וויוערז אין דער זוכן פון אַ ריין און געזונט סוויווע.

Behind Glory אַ וואַגאַנג דאַקיומענטערי איז אַ געווינער פֿון דעם A' Design Award אין בראָנדז, אַן העכסט פּרעסטיזשע אָנערקענונג וואָס ווערט געגעבן צו אויסגעצייכנטע דיזײַנס וואָס שטעכן אַרויס מיט קרעאַטיוויטעט, דערפֿינדונג און קלוגשאַפֿט. בראָנדז-געווינער זענען זייער בקיאותדיקע און אויפֿפֿאַלנדיק קרעאַטיווע אַרטיפֿאַקטן וואָס באַשטעטיקן די ברייטע דערפֿאַרונג, פֿאַנטאַזיע און דערפֿינדונג-קראַפֿט פֿון זייערע דיזײַנערס. פֿון Behind Glory אַ וואַגאַנג דאַקיומענטערי ווערט דערוואַרט אַז עס איז אַ הויך געשעצטע, באַוווּנדערטע און ליבע זאַך וואָס איז אויפֿפֿאַלנדיק פּראָפֿעסיאָנעל און אינאָוואַטיוו. דער דאָזיקער געווינענדיקער דיזײַן פֿון A' Design Award אין בראָנדז פֿאַראײניקט די בעסטע פּראַקטיקן אין קונסט, וויסנשאַפֿט, דיזײַן און טעכנאָלאָגיע, און איז אויסגעצייכנט פֿאַר זײַן אויפֿמערקזאַמקייט צו דעטאַלן. - אייגנאַרטיקע אייגנשאַפֿטן
- This is a photographic documentary of Wugang, the Wuhan Iron & Steel Co. Supported by the Russian and built in 1958, the state-owned Wugang is one of the biggest and most important steel factories in China, once signifying the industrialization & modernization of the country. However, such industry causes severe environmental pollution. Through capturing the heavily polluted campus with somber images, this community project reveals the price paid and the consequence behind the glory of economic prosperity.

- It is very difficult to obtain permission to take photo of this state-owned steel factory. The condition of the photo site is poor and limited, often difficult to get to the ideal places to obtain the best photographic angle.

- This is a photographic documentary of a steel factory. The design research points out the pollution and public health problem in the working and living environment; resulting the insights on price paid and the consequence behind the glory of modernization and economic prosperity. These images provoke the viewers into the search of a clean and healthy environment.
- אינספּיראַציע
- Inspired by contemporary artists such as Anselm Kiefer and Sally Mann, this environmental health and pollution control community project documents the heavily polluted and decaying factory campus of Wugang with abstract, lyrical and somewhat somber images. This group of photography points out the price paid and the consequence behind the glory of modernization and economic prosperity in China, provoking the viewers into the search of a clean and healthy working and living environment.
