Production Technology
This product needs to bring people a colorful city image, but it also needs to consider the cost and landing effect in the production, so the designer uses not too many colors, but describes a colorful beer can design.
Design Challenge
The biggest challenge of this project lies in trade-offs and integration. Because Wuhan is a super city in central China and has a very long history, there are many elements that can be expressed. This requires designers to make trade-offs and integrate all elements to make the elements look more like a whole. Fortunately, the designers have integrated the elements of Wuhan's three towns harmoniously through regional excavation.
Project Duration
The project will be started in Wuhan, China in April 2022 and completed in Wuhan, China in September 2022. It is expected to be sold in Hubei, China in April 2023.
Operation Flow
No matter people living in Wuhan, China, or people coming to Wuhan from other places, they can bring a sense of intimacy through this series of products, or quickly learn about the city's rich and colorful urban culture and characteristics, and contact the most people with the most daily consumer products.
Research
This project is very different from ordinary beer packaging. It is not only a commodity, but also more important to build urban culture from the height of a city. This requires designers to fully explore the most representative elements of the city, from landmark buildings to cultural characteristics, urban accumulation, future development, etc., which requires multi-dimensional exploration and thinking. Fortunately, the designer has lived and worked in this city for more than ten years, and has deep feelings and understanding about it.
Inspiration
Wuhan is a super metropolis in central China. It is divided into three towns by the Yangtze River and the Han River. Each town has very different characteristics and cultures. Through the cultural excavation of each town, a city picture is constructed from representative buildings, bridges, people, ships, flowers and other elements.
