About Elegance and Modernity Exhibition Stand
Elegance and Modernity is an exhibition stand created for a trade fair in Nuremberg. The stand measures 21.5 by 11 meters, with walls 5 meters high. Black and concrete finishes are combined with plant elements and careful lighting to present the products in a calm setting. The facade is made of laminate, a hanging golden cloud installation is formed from metal fencing, and the display units are lacquered in gold. All parts were produced in-house by carpenters. A screen of 6 by 3.5 meters shows a film to draw visitors from a distance.
Within the evolving discourse of contemporary exhibition design, this architectural intervention demonstrates how commercial presentation environments may transcend their transactional purpose to achieve genuine spatial poetry and atmospheric sophistication. The designer appears to engage with the phenomenological tradition of architecture that privileges the embodied experience of space, employing the archetypal pitched roof form as both mnemonic device and spatial organizing principle that immediately establishes psychological comfort and familiarity within the potentially alienating context of a large-scale trade fair environment. The technical achievement evident in the precise articulation of the structural framework, the seamless integration of electrical and lighting systems within the architectural envelope, and the calibrated material transitions between zones suggests a mature design practice operating at the highest level of professional execution. Particularly noteworthy is the suspended installation of biomorphic metallic sculptures that appear to float within the architectural void, their amorphous organic geometries establishing a compelling dialogue with the rectilinear precision of the surrounding structure. This juxtaposition may evoke broader meditations on the relationship between nature and artifice, between the handcrafted and the industrially produced, between chaos and order. The chromatic restraint of the predominantly gray palette achieves maximum impact through strategic deployment of warm illumination and the burnished copper tones of the carefully selected botanical specimens, demonstrating sophisticated understanding of how color temperature and material finish contribute to overall atmospheric effect. The fenestration pattern, with its domestic-scale window apertures revealing product displays within, cleverly transforms commercial presentation into a form of intimate revelation, inviting visitors to discover rather than simply observe. One might consider how this architectural approach reframes the visitor's journey through the space as a form of dwelling rather than mere passing through, and how the threshold between public circulation and private demonstration becomes a carefully choreographed sequence of spatial experiences.

Since we wanted to capture the attention of the visitors, we decided to use a huge screen (6x3,5m) to show the film, which was made by the client, at all times during the exhibition. This solution attracted the attention of the visitors from a distance. It is a perfect combination of multimedia technology with eye-catching design. - Tags

- Production Technology
- The production of the elegant facade made of laminate, golden cloud installation made of metal fence, and golden lacquered expositors were produces in-house in a carpentry, through the skilled hands of carpenters.
Custom-made production has to present their company as a strong business partner as well as highlight the exclusiveness and the high quality of their products.
Incorporating black into the design makes the stand evoke the associations of luxury and superior quality so it is a perfect choice to bring out the best in products.
