About Chinte ottoman Multifunctional sectional ottoman
Chinte is a sectional ottoman designed for homes, offices, museums, lobbies and atriums. The form is based on the chintemani motif, which is made of three circles. Each of the three sections can be used separately or together. The outer sections can be upholstered in fabric, leather, felt or linen. The innermost part is made of marble in large sizes and of wood in smaller sizes to reduce weight. The innermost part also offers storage space for magazines and books. Many colour combinations and sizes are possible.

- Inspiration
- Ottomans are upholstered furniture used as stool, coffee table etc to make people comfortable. Refered to its root, these furniture has been named after Ottoman Empire. On the other hand, cintemani motif which consists of three main circles and circles drawn within has a profound meaning in Ottoman culture and it is a well-known and widely used cultural figure. This pattern is considered as the symbol of strength, power and sovereignty. I'd like to combine and synthesize the motif and ottoman in one unique and modern design.
