About 360° Clean Multi Angle Cleaning Broom
360 Clean is a multi angle broom designed for household cleaning. A common broom has a limited working angle, so 360 Clean carries bristles arranged around the head in all directions. The hardness of the bristles is controlled according to their length, so the broom suits a wider range of cleaning situations. The form draws on traditional Chinese cleaning tools. The broom is made of PET, ABS and aluminum alloy, using injection molding and extrusion molding. The broom measures 300 by 80 by 950 millimeters and is used in the same way as an ordinary broom.

- Design Challenge
- The most difficult thing in this design is to combine product form and function.
- Project Duration
- The project started in January 2020 in Hefei and finished in March 2020 in Anqing.
- Operation Flow
- The way of using this product is very simple. Users only need to use it like a common broom. Because it adds brushes in all directions, it is easier to clean many scenes.
- Research
- First, we brainstorm our design goals. Then through the query of relevant information and user interviews to understand user needs. Then sketch and model, and make a simple functional prototype.
- Inspiration
- In the past, Chinese people would collect chicken feathers to make cleaning tools. With the development of modern life, old tools are gradually unable to meet the new use scenarios and are eliminated. I got inspiration from traditional Chinese cleaning tools and designed a new broom.
