Công trình Cải tạo Kỹ thuật là một trung tâm giao lưu học thuật được hình thành từ việc cải tạo một tòa nhà bệnh viện một tầng tại Quý Cảng. Bố cục ba gian ban đầu được giữ nguyên, trong khi tấm che dầm vòng, các cột thép độc lập, hệ thống cáp và không gian hai tầng mới được bổ sung để hỗ trợ kết cấu công trình. Ngói mái được lợp lại. Kính và thép là vật liệu nội thất chủ đạo, kết hợp với vật liệu giả gỗ. Công trình bao gồm một phòng triển lãm thư pháp và hội họa cùng một không gian giếng trời tràn ngập ánh sáng. Compared with other historical heritages, the protection of traditional buildings is more difficult and more difficult to be recognized by the public. Therefore, from the perspective of "activation" of traditional buildings and public space in the context of urban renewal, combined with the whole research and design experience of the academic exchange center project of Guigang people's Hospital of Guangxi, this paper analyzes and summarizes the strategy of "activation" of historical buildings based on the protection and current situation of representative historical and cultural buildings in Lingnan area.
