Radiant Bloom là một tác phẩm điêu khắc công cộng được sáng tạo cho một khoảng trống kiến trúc. Tác phẩm được làm từ thép không gỉ cường độ cao với bề mặt được đánh bóng gương hoàn toàn. Nhiều phần tử cong tạo thành các vòm giao nhau gợi nhớ đến một đài phun nước và một bông hoa đang nở. Tác phẩm điêu khắc trải rộng qua một khoảng trống trần hình tròn và kéo dài xuống một tiểu cảnh nước ở tầng trệt với đáy hồ bằng kính trong suốt. Ánh sáng ban ngày xuyên qua hồ nước vào không gian ngầm bên dưới. Hệ thống chiếu sáng LED có thể lập trình bổ sung màu sắc biến đổi. Bề mặt gương phản chiếu bầu trời và cảnh quan xung quanh.

Multiple curved elements create a series of intersecting archways, defining an open yet intimate spatial threshold. The installation spans a circular ceiling void and extends through a ground-level water feature, becoming an integral part of the architectural system. Its reflective surface captures the constantly changing sky and landscape, ensuring a dynamic dialogue between the built structure and its atmosphere.
Kích Thước & Đóng Gói: The sculpture measures W470 cm x D470 cm x H500 cm with a total weight of approximately 2 metric tons. It is supported by a precision-engineered five-axis radial steel foundation, designed for on-site segmented fabrication and crane-assisted assembly. Key technical properties include cross-level spatial penetration and a multi-perspective viewing system that optimizes the observer's experience from various vantage points. The installation is engineered to produce sophisticated water reflection and light refraction effects, creating a sense of simultaneous existence across multiple spatial dimensions. For international logistics, the work is prepared in modular segments to ensure efficient handling and structural integrity during transit and final installation.

Its structural integrity is anchored by a sophisticated five-axis radial load-bearing system and cross-level suspended integration, supported by advanced structural load and safety calculations. The design seamlessly integrates with its environment through a specialized water feature penetration system and a reinforced transparent glass pool base, which facilitates the transmission of natural daylight into underground spaces. This realization required seamless collaboration between sculptural design, structural engineering, and architectural coordination to balance aesthetic lightness with robust stability. An integrated, programmable RGBW LED lighting system further enhances the work, enabling vibrant color transitions that extend the sculpture's presence and establish a dynamic dialogue between structure, light, and atmosphere.
Thử Thách Thiết Kế: The primary challenge was balancing structural mass with visual weightlessness. Obstacles included complex cross-level load calculations, precision alignment with the architectural void, and ensuring seamless waterproof integration with the water feature. The project successfully transforms physical mass into perceived elevation, merging engineering precision with poetic expression.
Nghiên Cứu: This project investigates the integration of large-scale public sculpture within architectural voids. Key research focuses include executing a two-ton cross-level suspended structure without compromising safety, and utilizing water/glass refraction to create a secondary visual dimension. "Radiant Bloom" demonstrates how sculpture can transcend spatial confinement and transform an underground space into a luminous, psychologically uplifting environment.
Cảm Hứng: The conceptual inspiration derives from the dual imagery of a fountain and a blooming flower. This biomorphic sculpture, a harmonious fusion of natural forms and advanced material science, serves as a dynamic focal point in its environment. The fountain represents perpetual vitality, while the blossoming flower symbolizes harmony and renewal. "Radiant Bloom" embodies the wish that life may flow like a fountain - continuous and resilient - and bloom like a flower under sunlight, bringing hope and enduring beauty to its surroundings.
Thời Gian Dự Án: The project started in March 2023 and finished with installation in Taichung,Taiwan in October 2025
Quy Trình Vận Hành: The interaction is experiential rather than mechanical. Visitors are invited to look upward from the underground level to witness the sky through the sculpture or observe the installation from above through the water feature. As sunlight passes through the glass-bottomed pool, the sculpture transforms throughout the day, generating a temporal dialogue between structure and perception. The artwork exists not only physically but perceptually - within the dimension of light and reflection.
