Under the Bodhi Tree Primary Function:

Unnecessary partition walls were replaced with furniture and screens, so as to enlarge the living room space, while also differentiating between its various functions. In a departure from tradition, the Buddha hall is both minimalist and monolithic. The aura like glow of the Buddha provides a sense of warmth, gently drawing people into the space. Surrounded by natural elements, from both within and outside, the occupant might feel as though they are bearing witness to the buddha achieving enlightenment under the Bodhi tree all those years ago.

The large generous open volume is designed to bring out the occupants gregarious nature during the day, while also preparing them for rest in the evening.
