Tungkol sa Thonet Tribute Pulseras

Ipinagdiriwang ang ika-150 anibersaryo ng mga tanyag na upuan ng Thonet, ang pulseras ay gumagamit ng klasikong disenyo ng muwebles bilang pangunahing inspirasyon. Pinagsasama ang dalawang materyales na metal at kahoy, ang piraso ay dinisenyo sa kontemporaryong estilo na may arkitekturang tatak. Lahat ng bakanteng elemento sa metal sheet, ang volume at detalye ng kahoy ay dinisenyo upang makamit ang balanse ng mga materyales at ang kagaanan ng piraso.

Ang Thonet Tribute Pulseras ay nagwagi ng A' Design Award na Bronse, isang lubhang prestihiyosong pagkilalang iginagawad sa mga natatanging disenyong nakikilala sa pagkamalikhain, katalinuhan at talas ng isip. Ang mga nagwagi ng Bronse ay mga likhang lubhang mahusay at kapansin-pansing malikhain na nagpapatunay sa malawak na karanasan, imahinasyon at pagkamaparaan ng kanilang mga tagapagdisenyo. Inaasahang ang Thonet Tribute Pulseras ay isang lubos na pinahahalagahan, hinahangaan at minamahal na bagay na kapansin-pansing propesyonal at makabago. Ang disenyong ito na nagwagi ng A' Design Award na Bronse ay nagsasama ng pinakamahuhusay na kasanayan sa sining, agham, disenyo at teknolohiya, at mahusay dahil sa pansin nito sa detalye. Ang Thonet Tribute Pulseras ay kahanga-hangang tumutugon sa mga pangangailangan, humahaplos sa mga hangarin, bumibighani sa damdamin at umaakit sa pag-uusisa.

Mga Natatanging Katangian: The jewelry piece uses a great classic of the furniture design as its main headline. All the empty elements on metal sheet, the volume and the wood detail were designed aiming the balance of materials and light weightness.

Teknolohiya sa Produksyon: Materials: Brass, wood, silver plated. The metals pieces are laser cut, bended into a cuff shape then plated separately. The thin wooden sheet is glued to the base metal and the top metal element is fixed by small rivets.
Hamon sa Disenyo: The project had 2 big challenges. The first and the bigger one was to transform a multi layer braided fiber into a flat single metal sheet. Even being flated, the sheet had to look like the real woven cane web. The other challenge was how to fix the top metal sheet on the base one, since all the metal were plated and welding wasn't an option.
Pananaliksik: The research was made using a real woven cane chair, measuring the entire braided pattern, sketching over it. After the vetorial drawing, many tests were made to determinate the size of the empty elements.
Inspirasyon: The 150th anniversary of Thonet's most popular design served as inspiration for the creation. The object of inspiration consists in handed woven cane seat and backrest and a wooden frame structure. The goal was to take the web pattern of the Thonet's chair, but using the metal as the main element of the jewelry.
Tagal ng Proyekto: The project started with its first sketches in September 2011 in Rio de Janeiro/Brazil. After drafts, alterations and prototypes, the project was launched in March 2012.
