The mushrooms appeared to him to glow and pulsate with a kind of 'life force'. He decided to capture this experience by using its form as a lamp design, the electricity and light bringing it to life. To create this the designer aimed to innovatively combine 3D printing technology with the hand crafted wooden form so the entire piece could be produced in house, with ecological materials. Research and experimentation were carried out in his workshop and with design software.
Ylham: The natural form of the Liberty Cap (Psilocybe Semilanceata) a potent psychedelic mushroom inspired this design.
