ኒና ከምኡ'ውን ቤኒ ካብ ቅርጽታት ናይ ዕንጨይቲ ጃልባ ኣቃውማ ዝተመስጠ ጽኑዕ ዕንጨይቲ መንበር እዩ። ክልተ ብሃፋ ዝተዓጻጸፋ ቀጠንቲ ዕንጨይቲ ኣብ ልዕሊ መቐመጢ ብምንጥልጣል፡ ፈለማ ከም ኣእጋር፡ ደሓር ከም መደገፊ ኢድ፡ ኣብ መወዳእታ ድማ ንኸባቢ ሕቖ ዝቐርጽ ኮይነን የገልግላ። እዚ መንበር ካብ ብቐጻልነት ዝእለዩ ኣግራብ ዝርከብ ኣሽ፡ ቸሪ፡ ኦክ ወይ ዋልነት ዕንጨይቲ ዝተሰርሐ ኮይኑ፡ ብተፈጥሮኣዊ ዘይትን ስምዒን ዝተወደአ እዩ። ብሓሙሽተ ዘንጊ ዘለዋ ማሽን ዝተቖርጹ ቅርጽታት ንናይ ሃፋ ምዕጻፍን ንምጥባቕ ናይተን ቀጠንቲ ዕንጨይትን ይመርሑ። እቲ መቐመጢ ዝወጽእን ዝቕየርን እዩ። እዚ ናይ ምቕራጽ ኣገባብ ብኽነት ናይ ኣቕሓ ይድርት።

- Two steam-bent strips cantilever over the seat to serve first as legs then armrest and finally mold to the lumbar area. The Nina & Beni chair is made from 100% sustainably sourced forests.

- ናይ ምፍራይ ቴክኖሎጂ
- To achieve the complex geometry of the Nina & beni chair we use a 5 axis CNC to cut 2 molds which we then use to steam bend the solid wood strips to their form. We then use another set of cnc-cut counter molds to make the 3d lamination.

- The most difficult part was designing and building the 3 dimensional molds needed to build the chair.

- Sustainability is my design objective.
I use wood because it is the best short carbon cycle material, the complex shapes are steam-bent so as to create as little waste as possible.

- Inspired by the efficient yet beautiful forms of wooden naval structures. Boat building achieves aerodynamic forms that take advantage of the trees grain with little waste.
