- The ancient Venetian glass blowing tecnique for creating the crackled icy surface is combined with fresh 3D designed Scandinavian shape. The piece is blown into a wooden mold. The rim finishing is made with a flame, for creating smooth and high quality finish. Icy glasses are studio made, mouth blown glass. Glasses are signed and numbered.

- The creative challenge was to combine Venetian tradition with modern simplicity in order to create harmony. The main technique in the process is crackling the glass. It was vital to find the perfect structure, so that the effect remain elegant and the surface is resistant. Durability and performance of the object were important goals in the process. Combination of techniques made the object extremely durable, which is important in drinking glasses designed to last for decades.

The contrasts in nature and the way they create harmony is desired to be captured in the collection. The capacity of the drinking glass is aimed for classic drinks and it is specially suitable for layered designer cocktails.
