Kuhusu Cotton Spate Kioski cha Maonyesho
Cotton Spate ni kioski cha maonyesho kilichobuniwa kwa ajili ya duka la muda (pop-up store). Kioski hiki huonyesha idadi ndogo ya bidhaa ili kuweka mwelekeo kwenye kila bidhaa. Umbo lake limechochewa na mashamba ya maua ya pamba ya Pima ya asili, yanayoota kando ya ziwa moja nchini Peru. Sehemu ya juu yenye umbo la mawimbi la pande tatu, lenye rangi nyeupe, hushikilia sahani nyembamba za pande zote za chuma zinazobeba bidhaa. Sehemu yenye umbo la mawimbi imetengenezwa kwa povu lenye msongamano mkubwa, lililoumbwa kwa mikono kutokana na mfano wa kompyuta, huku sahani zikiwa za chuma zilizopakwa rangi nyeupe. Kaunta na kifuniko cha nje vimetengenezwa kwa mbao. Nafasi ya kuhifadhia bidhaa imewekwa chini ya sehemu yenye umbo la mawimbi.

Cotton Spate Kioski cha Maonyesho ni mshindi wa Tuzo ya Chuma ya A' Design Award, utambuzi wenye heshima unaotolewa kwa miundo mizuri inayokidhi mahitaji ya kitaalamu na ya kiviwanda yanayotarajiwa kutoka kwa kazi zilizobuniwa vizuri. Washindi wa Chuma huonyesha ustadi mkubwa, utaalamu wa hali ya juu, uelewa wa kitaalamu na uwezo wa kibunifu wa waumbaji wao. Cotton Spate Kioski cha Maonyesho inatarajiwa kuwa kazi inayothaminiwa sana, kupendwa na kuenziwa, ambayo ni ya vitendo na bunifu. - The typical pop-up store console place too many products that the customer loses their interest in those products immediately when they see the messy condition. However, the Cotton Spate minimizes the amount to emphasize the importance of products by the purity.

- Teknolojia ya Uzalishaji
- The wavy material is high-density foam and crafted by hand by referencing a three-dimensional computer model. The circular surface is white painted metal inserted into the high-density foam. The counter and outside enclosure of the console is crafted by the carpenter with wood.
- Changamoto ya Ubunifu
- The hardest part of this project is to compose the right material and tools for archiving a three-dimensional surface portion due to the budget limitation. Usually, the best ways to compose such a design, it is best to utilize CNC digital fabrication, however, it costs too much for this pop-up shelf. In the end, the attentive solution is to incorporate other industry master craftsmen to cut the high-density foam by hand by referencing the computer model.
- Utafiti
- The main objective of this project is to find the most efficient ways to craft a three-dimensional surface by choosing the right material and crafting tools. By incorporating other industry skills, the design archive the minimum expanse to assemble the shelf.
- Msukumo
- The inspiration for the design is the filed of organic Pima cotton flower which the brand exclusively used for its product. The Pima cotton flower grows by the lake in Peru and it creates a strong impression of purity. The shelf incorporates the identity of the brand by creating a white three-dimensional wavy surface and host circular thin metal plates to present their items.

- The design phase started in July, finished construction in September and opened to the public on October 2019.

- The customer accesses from the front side to the items, while the store operator stands behind the counter. There is also storage space underneath of wavy surface console to keep their stock for sales.
