Muundo huu wa taa umechochewa na kofia ya mchawi na umepewa jina la mmoja wa wachawi maarufu zaidi, Oz. Muundo wake unategemea wazo la kutumia duara pekee kama kipengele cha muundo, kikibadilishwa kupitia tofauti mbalimbali za mawimbi ili kufafanua umbo. Ingawa umbo la nje linabaki thabiti kiasi kutoka pembe tofauti za kutazama, mikunjo inayobadilika huathiri kwa hila jinsi mtu anavyoshirikiana na taa hiyo. Kuzunguka taa hiyo huleta hisia ya mwendo kama wa mawimbi kwa mtazamaji.

Ozz Kifaa cha Msingi: Taa ya Kuning'iniza ni mshindi wa Tuzo ya Chuma ya A' Design Award, utambuzi wenye heshima unaotolewa kwa miundo mizuri inayokidhi mahitaji ya kitaalamu na ya kiviwanda yanayotarajiwa kutoka kwa kazi zilizobuniwa vizuri. Washindi wa Chuma huonyesha ustadi mkubwa, utaalamu wa hali ya juu, uelewa wa kitaalamu na uwezo wa kibunifu wa waumbaji wao. Ozz Kifaa cha Msingi: Taa ya Kuning'iniza inatarajiwa kuwa kazi inayothaminiwa sana, kupendwa na kuenziwa, ambayo ni ya vitendo na bunifu. Muundo huu ulioshinda Tuzo ya Chuma ya A' Design Award unajumuisha mbinu bora za tasnia na una sifa za kiufundi zenye uwezo zilizounganishwa na ujuzi na kipaji. Ozz Kifaa cha Msingi: Taa ya Kuning'iniza inaheshimiwa kwa uangalifu wake na imebuniwa kutoa maboresho ya ubora wa maisha yanayosaidia kuufanya ulimwengu kuwa mahali bora zaidi.

- This lamp’s form is defined by six curves based on the circle. The top and bottom circles are perfect circles, while the four in between ones are deformed and angled to create variation. Though the overall silhouette remains similar from different viewpoints, the shifting curves affect how the lamp interacts with ambient light across its’ surface.

- The lamp design was made digitally and for its’ plaster mold production a prototype was 3d printed. Along with the prototype, the container that was used in order to place the prototype in and create the plaster mold, was also 3d printed. For this product, a small table that the mold can rest on, with a hole and a valve installed on its’ underside was used, in order to achieve a smooth drain out of the porcelain slip. This was done, in order to achieve the cleanest possible cast from a heavy mold, with the least amount of post clean-up.
- Changamoto ya Ubunifu
- Although the design and mold-making part proved to be straightforward, the biggest challenge arose during the firing of the porcelain. Finding the right temperature and firing programme for an object that has a large rim and irregular edges required a fair amount of tests.
- Utafiti
- After designing the project and before jumping into its’ production, a prototype vessel was 3d printed in order to verify that an object with helical symmetry is in balance when suspended.
- Msukumo
- This lamp design draws inspiration from the form of a wizard’s hat; specifically, a tightly cropped interpretation that omits the brim and crown, leaving only the essence of its conical silhouette.
- Muda wa Mradi
- The product was designed in early 2025 and production started in the summer of 2025. The entire process took place in Istanbul, Turkey.
- Mtiririko wa Uendeshaji
- The lamp’s size and opening allow for it to be used as the main form of illumination in a space. Its’ sharp wavy edges create a sense of motion, while its’ smooth but also angular form allow it to blend into many space with different interior styles.
