Dipatlisiso: The challenge began with the goal of designing an iconic product, one that defies trends and stands out from the ordinary. From the initial sketches, we explored soft, inviting shapes instead of the rigid, serious forms that dominate the furniture industry today. The color palette focused on pastel tones, with the first concept emerging in a soothing, soft pink. To emphasize relaxation and friendliness, we reimagined the armrests, traditionally structural and overlooked, transforming them into the most comfortable and inviting parts of the sofa.
Kgothaletso: The Capsule Sofa embodies nature’s rebirth, inspired by a pod emerging from the earth with grace and elegance. More than just furniture, it symbolizes growth, blending raw natural beauty with refined craftsmanship. Each curve tells a story of transformation, where sophistication meets organic form. A timeless piece, it brings the serene essence of nature into your home, celebrating the harmony of design and the elegance that springs from the earth.
