Dipatlisiso: I am fascinated by the profound beauty and unique delicate texture of nephrite jade which represents the deepest spiritual pursuit and I have always been interested in finding out new approaches in combining nephrite jade with gold, diamonds, pearls and other precious stones in jewelry design.
Kgothaletso: Flowers are often seen as symbols of joy and pleasure, and are a recurring theme in art and poetry. As a visual artist and jewelry designer, I would like to create and present an ideally perfect flower which integrate culturally significant flowers, which are lotus, peony, chrysanthemum, calla lily and magnolia, into one whole piece. Flowering period of the five different flowers alternates throughout the year, implying happiness all year round. Also, it means everlasting blooming.
