О дизајну X World Odeća

X World je konceptualni odevni predmet inspirisan rendgenskim fotografijama insekata. Dizajn prevodi egzoskelet insekta u nosivu formu, postavljajući slojeve struktura nalik oklopu na ljudsko telo. X World je izrađen tehnikom izrade kineskih dvorskih lampiona, zanatom koji je uvršten na listu nematerijalnog kulturnog nasleđa. Nakon brojnih testiranja materijala, okvir od gvozdene žice kombinovan je sa svilenim gazom, spojem koji je istovremeno lagan i fleksibilan. Odevni predmet je nežan, a ipak čvrst, i predstavlja ranjivost kao privremeni oblik zaštite.

Finally, I chose the combination of the two materials, the skeleton made of iron wire and the silk gaux, which is both light and flexible. It has the aesthetic feeling of sensibility and rationality.

Ток рада: Vulnerability is the body's natural "airbag" that turns it into protection when we are faced with a difficult or mentally challenging situation. I think of this protection as an insect exoskeleton attached to our bodies, providing a temporary sense of security. I made this "exoskeleton" into clothes. It's beautiful and fragile, thin and tough.
