О дизајну Light Box Stambeni enterijer
Light Box je stambeni enterijer trospratne gradske kuće u Čengduu. Pravougaona osnova je duga 15,5 metara i široka 7,8 metara, sa ukupnom površinom od 400 kvadratnih metara. Dekoracija je svedena na minimum, a otvoreni prazni prostor je zadržan kako bi dnevna svetlost i priroda dopirali do prostora za život. Pored kuhinje i čajdžinice u prizemlju formirano je dvorište nastalo od dela originalnog vrta. Spojevi između furnira od masivnog drveta kontrolisani su na jedan milimetar, a na mestima gde se kamen spaja sa drvetom ostavljeni su mali razmaci kako bi se podržala dugotrajna upotreba.

- In the repeated deliberation of space, designers do not stick to the original closed state of space, and from the perspective of "human", improve the intimacy of human to nature, to find the living state of seclusion. The light box carries the deposition of time, and the blank space makes "people in the box" more likely. By retaining the emotion between people, they establish a new interwoven relationship, and integrate the power of nature to evolve the "box of light".

- The house type of this case is a typical townhouse with three-story frame structure. It is a rectangular space with a length of 15.5 meters, a width of 7.8 meters and an overall area of 400 square meters. Several changes in the design of "light box" are worth sharing. The kitchen on the first floor and the patio of the teahouse are part of the original garden, with an area of about 30 square meters.

- Although some construction techniques are simplified as far as possible in this case, the simplification does not mean rough. For example, the joint between solid wood veneers is required to be controlled at 1mm, so it needs careful treatment by workers. As for the closing of stone and wood, it is also necessary to leave a certain gap between the wood to ensure long-term use.

- In the design process, designers often read about Louis Barragan's ideas, so the case runs through several themes that Barragan loved throughout his life, such as religious piety, light, body, and horse. Barragan said: "Tranquility is the real great medicine to relieve pain and fear, whether it is luxurious or simple, the architect's duty is to make tranquility a regular guest in the family." In the Light Box, returning to peace and inner precipitation may be a new start.
