On the first floor are the office area and the studio for podcast recording and Youtube filming. In the basement, there is a hidden lounge and wine cellar. The “X” shaped metal extends from the front outdoor area to the indoor space, and also from the first-floor ceiling and folds into a staircase, and leads visitors to the basement area.
The metals cut through the warm wood and combine the steadiness of stone materials. The “X” shaped metal combines different spaces and builds up the function of the X5 Charity Foundation.
Caqabadda Naqshadda: The most challenging part the team faced is that the space is planned to be a complex space to meet diverse needs. To make each space unique but not apart from one another is one of the challenges the team faces. However, the team uses lots of techniques to show the transparency of the area and the matching of different materials.
Also, the project needed to be delivered in a short period of time, which really made teamwork and communication more important than ever for a design team.
