We solved the problem through the material method and ergonomic design of a shoulder cushion. In terms of a seat to sit down a baby, a baby's thigh is pressed depending on a baby's weight. And by making a baby's legs in the M position, a baby's hip dysplasia should be prevented. We put a lot of time and effort into the seat material and the seat design to satisfy this.
Su'esu'ega: In order to make it easier to hold a baby, we collected data such as the shape of a baby's legs, the wearer's pain area, and the time and number of times to hold a baby.
Through interviews with parents who actually bring up children, we set goals and looked for ways to solve them.
Based on the collected data, we did dummy doll tests on hundreds of seat designs, and recruited participants to observe parents and babies, and completed the baby carrier design.
Fa'aosofia: We wanted to make a baby carrier that carries like a bag and allows a baby to sit on as he or she wants. This is because as babies grow, the amount of time they are held is shortened and the number of times they are held increases.
We wanted to make a baby carrier with a stylish design that could hold and put down a baby as quickly as possible, while making it small in volume and widening a baby's view. It is the LUX101 side hip-seat that can satisfy all of these.
