Urban Symbiosis je večnamenski kompleks super visokih stolpnic nad postajo 7 Train v New Yorku, ki združuje stanovanja, servisirana stanovanja in pisarne. V počastitev veličastne podzemne železnice je vhod v metro umeščen v središče ter omogoča naravno svetlobo in neprekinjeni javni dostop. Zasnova optimizira energetske obremenitve s kombiniranjem pisarniških in stanovanjskih programov ter zmanjšuje pritisk na omrežje. Namesto tradicionalnega vertikalnega zlaganja horizontalna delitev oblikuje dve stolpnici, kar ustvarja skupne javne prostore z ugodnostmi, kot so restavracije, prostori za skupno delo in telovadnice za stalno interakcijo.

Edinstvene lastnosti: Urban Symbiosis reimagines the traditional tower by horizontally splitting residential and office spaces, forming two interconnected towers. This innovative layout smooths energy demand by balancing daytime and nighttime usage, reducing grid pressure. A central subway entrance celebrates public access, while extensive shared amenities foster community interaction. The sunken garden at street level enhances urban experience, creating seamless connections with the High Line.

Balancing public engagement with sustainability and energy performance was a key obstacle.
