Laodian Shanzhai je návrh interiéru reštaurácie situovanej v meste Kunming v Číne. Projekt zaberá plochu 1700 štvorcových metrov a predstavuje gastronomickú kultúru etnických menšín provincie Yunnan. Tradičné čínske lampióny v rozličných tvaroch dotvárajú atmosféru celého priestoru. Farbená priadza a etnické textílie sú kombinované s odkazmi na terasované ryžové polia, centrálne ohnisko, veterné mlyny a starobylú studňu. Sýte farby a precízna práca so svetlom a stínom dodávajú interiéru svieži a elegantný charakter. Cieľom projektu je priblížiť regionálnu tradíciu mladšiemu publiku.
