Grand Overture je pohostinská hala s rozlohou približne 1000 metrov štvorcových v Šanghaji v Číne. Klenuté konštrukcie vedú tok svetla a tieňa naprieč niekoľkými úrovňami. Krémovo biely kameň, drevo v zemitých tónoch a kovové akcenty vytvárajú vrstvy textúry a tepla. Kamenné intarzované vzory v štýle Art Deco a kamenná podlaha so vzorom rybej kosti odkazujú na historické obchodné domy tohto regiónu. Zakrivené schodisko vedie návštevníkov nahor a výťahová hala obsahuje historické ukazovatele poschodí. Klasické oblúky a barokové krivky sú reinterpretované prostredníctvom moderného geometrického prístupu.
