යෝග හවුස් යනු පැසිව් සූර්ය බලයෙන් ක්‍රියාත්මක වන පෘථිවි ආරක්‍ෂිත ව්‍යුහයක් ලෙස නිර්මාණය කරන ලද තිරසාර නිවසකි. මෙම ගොඩනැගිල්ල වර්ග මීටර් 224 ක භූමි ප්‍රමාණයක් ආවරණය කරන අතර, ස්වභාවික හා ප්‍රතිචක්‍රීකරණය කරන ලද ද්‍රව්‍යවලින් තැනී ඇත. තාප ස්කන්ධ ඉදිකිරීම් ක්‍රමය සහ ස්වභාවික වාතාශ්‍රය මගින් අභ්‍යන්තර උෂ්ණත්වය නියාමනය කරයි. සූර්ය පැනල සහ සුළං ටර්බයින මගින් විදුලිය සපයන අතර, වර්ෂා ජලය රැස් කර දිගු කාලීන භාවිතය සඳහා ගබඩා කරනු ලැබේ. ස්ථානයේම ආහාර වගා කිරීමට හැකි වන පරිදි කාබනික උද්‍යානයක් ද පිහිටුවා ඇත. ප්‍රධාන වශයෙන් තනි මහල් සහිත මෙම සැලසුම, පවතින සියලුම ගස් සුරැකීමට සහ අනුකූල දර්ශන විවෘත කිරීමට හැකි වන පරිදි භූමියේ නිදහස් අභිමුඛතාවකින් සකසා ඇත.
