गतिशील चाप व्यस्त नगर में सरल रस जोड़ता है। दोनों पार्श्वों के अधस्तन भाग में दो गोलक स्थापित हैं जो चाप में तनाव उत्पन्न करते हैं। गोलक स्वयं परिवेशी स्थान को व्याप्त करने की इच्छा रखता है, जो यह विचार करने का अवसर देता है कि क्या चाप की वक्रता इन दोनों गोलकों के कारण उत्पन्न हुई है। ये सुरुचिपूर्ण रेखाएं नगर चौक में रुचि और सौंदर्य का भाव जोड़ती हैं।
