माओताई इति चीनदेशीयस्य बाइजियु-मद्यस्य कृते संवेष्टनाभिकल्पनम् अस्ति। एषा पेटिका संवेष्टनसंरचनायां कर्षण-पत्रक-परिवर्तन-चित्रसूत्रस्य प्रयोगं प्रथमवारं करोति। यदा पत्रकं कर्ष्यते, तदा मुद्रितं चित्रं परिवर्तते, येन माओताई-नगरे भोजोत्सवाय समागतानां द्वादशानां चीनीय-राशिचक्र-पशूनां पौराणिक-पुरुषाणां च दर्शनं भवति। चित्राणि पारम्परिक-चीनीय-संस्कृतिं सौन्दर्यशास्त्रं च सूचयन्ति। कुप्यं मृत्तिकाशिल्पप्रविधिना निर्मितम् अस्ति। त्रिआयामिक-न्यूनतापोत्कीर्ण-पत्रस्य उपयोगेन आकृतीनां यथार्थता रक्षिता। पेटिकायाः परिमाणं १४० गुणित १२५ गुणित ३०० मिलीमीटरम् अस्ति।
