Sobre Xiang Design de Interiores de Restaurante

Xiang é o interior de um restaurante chinês criado dentro de uma casa antiga no centro de Tainan, Taiwan. O design inspira-se no salão, uma forma histórica de reunião onde os convidados se encontram, conversam e relaxam. A estrutura original é preservada e unida a uma nova forma construtiva cortada na diagonal. O tijolo vermelho chinês, as paredes em verde Morandi e as peças de ferro sob medida em dourado areia dialogam com os pratos da culinária de Hunan servidos no local. O concreto aparente e o acrílico de veio reto acrescentam um tom contemporâneo. Uma ampla janela do piso ao teto revela aos transeuntes a atmosfera acolhedora do ambiente de refeições.

Propriedades Únicas: This building was originally an old house, located in the center of the city, filled with traces of years of scouring both inside and outside. The memory of the original interior space with appropriately add to the warm atmosphere of the salon; at the same time, the appearance of the new diagonally cut building structure allows the design to give the old house more possibilities to regenerate, so that it is not just The "restaurant" but also is a space that combines art and people.

Desafio de Design: The original structure of the old house with very limited width and high, located in a small neighborhood in the center of the city. The space inside was so narrow for dividing the rooms for the Chinese cuisine in the three districts to fit in the 8-10 people dining round table and dining area for 2-4 people, plus a big room for 12 people. And outside the access to the building is difficult.

The timeline is also a big challenge as we had only 2 months from designing to complete the entire construction.
Pesquisa: "Xiang" is a province of China - also known as Hunan. The local dishes are famous for their rich and spicy taste, rigorous production and outstanding taste. Hunan cuisine is one of the eight major cuisines in China, regarded as one of the representatives of Chinese cuisine overseas.
The choice of decorating materials is based on the Chinese red, green and gold Combine red brick with Morandi paint as well as the sand gold custom iron to create the atmosphere responds to the food we serve.
Inspiração: The original intention of this space design was "Salon"
Salon - The first word in Italy in the 16th century, was invited by the host to participate in other guests, to increase the opportunity to communicate with each other, or to enjoy themselves and enhance the self-cultivation. This form of gathering was also very popular in France from the 17th to the 18th centuries until modern times still exist.
Duração do Projeto: The project started in September 2018 in Tainan city, Taiwan, and finished in early November 2018.
Fluxo de Operação: Taking the base of an old house structure, planned a large front area box location with custom lighting and imported tile desktop. Thru the large floor-to-ceiling glass window to convey the pleasant and warm dining atmosphere, to express a strong impression to the passing people stay in sight. Inside, the combination of Chinese red brick, morandi green wall and custom gold iron decoration perfectly responds to the Xiang dishes the restaurant serves, and brings the people back to the old times.
