A Moon Chair é uma cadeira de automontagem feita em madeira maciça. O design recorre à tradicional marcenaria de encaixe por respiga e mortalha, combinada com travamentos em cauda de andorinha. Não são utilizados conectores metálicos, pelo que a Moon Chair pode ser montada e desmontada à mão em dois ou três passos. A cadeira é produzida em nogueira americana e modelada por corte de madeira. As dimensões são de 390 por 340 por 680 milímetros. O formato de embalagem plana reduz os custos de transporte e adequa-se à venda online. A cadeira destina-se a jovens com casas pequenas que mudam de residência com frequência.

Propriedades Únicas: The Moon Chair is made of solid wood, simple and stylish, utilizing mortise and tenon joinery for a strong visual impact. It is a high degree of integration of aesthetics and structure, the structure of the clever use of mortise and tenon joints and dovetail locks, the product itself does not have any connectors, can be disassembled and assembled with bare hands. The flat design can greatly reduce the transportation cost, which is very suitable for selling on the Internet.

Desafio de Design: The most challenging part is the structural design. Pesquisa: Nowadays, the young generation has lower income, small living space, likes online shopping, moves frequently and pursues a certain quality of life. They need flexible, space-saving, easy-to-use, simple and stylish furniture to improve their quality of life. Moon Chair skillfully uses traditional mortise and tenon structure, the whole product has no metal connectors, and can be assembled and disassembled with bare hands, and the beauty of its structure well demonstrates the wisdom of the predecessors. The flat design greatly reduces transportation costs and is ideal for online sales.
Inspiração: The current young generation of people with low income, narrow living space, like online shopping, often moving, the pursuit of a certain quality of life. We hope to design a new mortise and tenon structure based on the traditional mortise and tenon structure, combined with the toughness of wood materials, to realize a high degree of integration of the disassembling function, firmness and aesthetics of the chair!
Duração do Projeto: The project started in April 2018 in Hangzhou and finished in August 2020 in Hangzhou.
Fluxo de Operação: Open the product package, and assemble the product in 2-3 steps; the operation is very convenient, you can experience the fun of assembly, and the completed product is solid and durable.
