- According to research, tea competition began in the Tang Dynasty. Every spring after new tea was made, tea farmers and customers would hold an activity that compares the quality of new tea with its inferior quality. It is not only characterized by skill, winning and losing, but also full of fun and challenge. The victory or defeat of a tea match, just like the victory or defeat of a football match today.
