نوس په یونان کې د کریت په ټاپو کې موقعیت لري چې د استوګنې کور دی. د U شکل اصلي حجم د یوې لاندې ځمکې میلمستون سره یوځای شوی. دواړه حجمونه د جنوب ختیځ لور ته د لمر رڼا اعظمي کوي او د موسمونو په بدلون سره د لمر د زاویې بدلون ته ځواب وايي. دوه لمریز ځایونه، یو د ثابت سیوري سره او بل د گرځنده پردو او یوې لوی دیوال سره، طبیعي تودوخه او یخوالی رامنځته کوي. یو شنه چت، د اوبو سطحې، د هوا رسولو یوه شکاره او کنترول شوي د چت سوري د حرارتي آرام ښه والي رامنځته کوي. فوتوولتایي پلیټونه، لمریز د اوبو تودونکي او جیوترمال سیسټم د انرژۍ اغیزه کموي.

Nus د استوګنې کور د برونز A' Design Award جایزې ګټونکی دی، یوه ډېره ویاړلې پېژندنه چې غوره ډیزاینونو ته ورکول کېږي چې په خلاقیت، هوښیارۍ او زیرکتیا ځانګړي دي. د برونز ګټونکي ډېر ماهر او په حیرانوونکي ډول خلاقي آثار دي چې د خپلو ډیزاینرانو پراخ تجربه، تخیل او چارواکتیا تاییدوي. له Nus د استوګنې کور څخه تمه کېږي چې یو ډېر ارزښتناک، ستایل شوی او ګران شی وي چې په پام وړ ډول مسلکي او نوښتګر دی. دا د برونز A' Design Award جایزې ګټونکی ډیزاین په هنر، ساینس، ډیزاین او ټیکنالوژۍ کې غوره کړنلارې یو ځای کوي او د جزیاتو ته د پاملرنې له امله غوره دی. - The main criteria for the architectural decisions made, were the need for low energy footprint building designs, as well as the views towards pure Cretan nature. Τhe main U shaped residence along with the underground guest house volume, maximize the southeast exposure of the building, while they are taking advantage of the different angle of the sun rays during the seasonal cycles.

- For natural heating and cooling, we created two solar spaces, one with fixed shading, one with rotating blinds and a mass wall. Water surfaces on the south walls, the green roof, the hiding of the western light, the vertical ventilation shaft with small openings towards the North and the controlled shading roof openings, lead to thermal comfort conditions. Photovoltaic panels, solar water heaters and the vertical geothermal system, contribute to minimize the building’s ecological footprint.

- We believe in the integration of buildings into nature. Humble design tones present with more challenging architectural solutions, that take into account the sustainability and the ecological footprint of our built environment. Furthermore, the Cretan nature and landscape only needs a good frame to be appreciated or no frame at all. And this is what we did here. Minimum sq.meters, natural materials and welcoming volume decisions.
