O projekcie Spring Breeze Projekt wnętrza biurowego
Spring Breeze to przestrzeń biurowa w Kunmingu, w prowincji Junnan w Chinach. Projekt polega na renowacji wolnostojącego budynku o konstrukcji stalowej, o powierzchni wewnętrznej 1000 metrów kwadratowych. Wewnątrz pierwotnej konstrukcji zbudowano drewniany podwieszany dom, wykorzystując tradycyjne techniki oparte na połączeniach czopowo-gniazdowych, bez użycia gwoździ. Dwa rzędy słupów i belek podtrzymują zawieszone pomieszczenia i korytarze. Konstrukcja z podwójną ścianą kontroluje ilość światła słonecznego wpadającego do strefy pracy przez szklaną fasadę. Drewniany dom tworzy wizualny kontrast ze stalowym budynkiem.
