Over Fontworks Inc. Tokyo Hoofdkantoor Interieurontwerp

Book Text: Fontworks Inc. Tokyo is een interieur voor het hoofdkantoor van een lettergieterij, gevestigd op de vijfde verdieping van een gebouw in Minato-ku, Tokio. Het kantoor beslaat 431 vierkante meter en is ontworpen rond de versmelting van analoog en digitaal werk. Een C-vormig bureau ondersteunt creatieve taken en samenwerking tussen medewerkers. Een groot scherm midden op een wand houdt de verbinding met het Creative Lab in Fukuoka in stand, zodat beide locaties online kunnen communiceren. Een trapvormige bank bij de ingang maakt informele ontmoetingen met bezoekers mogelijk. De gebruikte materialen omvatten tapijttegels, hout, Corian, staal en kurkbord.

The project design started in Feb 2019 in Fukuoka,Japan and finished in July 2019. Construction started in Tokyo in Aug 2019 and finished in Dec 2019.
