Over The Kub Afzuigkap

De Kub is een afzuigkap ontworpen voor keukens. De Kub is verkrijgbaar in zeven configuraties, waaronder wandgemonteerde, eiland- en hangende versies, met of zonder schouw of houten plank. De beschikbare afwerkingen zijn zwart, wit en roestvrij staal. De hoofdmodule meet 32 bij 32 bij 32 centimeter. Een borstelloze motor zorgt voor krachtige afzuiging met een laag geluidsniveau. Dankzij connectiviteit is bediening op afstand mogelijk via de Elica-applicatie en spraakassistenten, en de afzuigkap communiceert met de kookplaat om het vermogen automatisch aan te passen.

Unieke Eigenschappen: The Kub is a distinctive hood that adapts to any space. Available in seven configurations (wall, island, suspended) and finishes in Black, White, and Stainless Steel, it offers flexible solutions with matching chimneys and wooden shelves. The brushless motor guarantees power and silence. With Connex, the Elica app, and voice assistants, it can be controlled remotely and communicates with the hob, enhancing the space with balance and character.
Afmetingen & Verpakking: The Kub is a product that can be configured according to customer requirements and is available in wall mounted, freestanding, or suspended versions. The main module measures 32 × 32 × 32 cm, while the height of the hood body varies depending on the configuration and whether a chimney is included. The wooden shelf, an aesthetic accessory, is available in 120 or 90 × 42 × 4 cm sizes, adaptable to design preferences.

Onderzoek: The research behind The Kub stems from the desire to bring a high-performance yet customizable product to kitchens. Customization is expressed in the choice of finishes (white, black, or stainless steel) and in the type of installation: suspended, island, or wall mounted. A versatile solution, designed to adapt to any space with style and functionality.
Inspiratie: The idea for The Kub hood came from the desire to bring a product into the kitchen that was both aesthetically pleasing and functional. A functional design that interacts with contemporary spaces with rigor, balance, and authority. The high performance extraction system is designed to ensure high extraction capacity with low noise levels. Acoustic optimization allows you to cook, work, and converse in a comfortable environment without noise interference.
Projectduur: The project began in February 2024 and ended in October 2025; it will be exhibited at the Salone del Mobile in April 2026.
Werkproces: Simple and intuitive to use, The Kub incorporates an innovation that makes all the difference: connectivity. It communicates directly with the hob, activating, adjusting the power, and switching off automatically according to use. It can also be controlled via voice assistant, making it a fully fledged part of the smart home ecosystem. Hidden technology, visible performance: powerful suction, high capture, and reduced noise.
