Over Quietvale Oplaadbare bureaulamp
Quietvale is een draagbare bureaulamp met een draadloze oplaadfunctie voor persoonlijke apparaten. De lampbehuizing is vervaardigd uit één stuk Spaanse wolkensteen, gevormd door CNC-frezen en afgewerkt met een transparante beschermlaag. De voet is gevormd door traditioneel zandgieten tot een metalen frame, waarin de draadloze oplaadmodule en het accupack zijn ondergebracht. Een verborgen metalen constructie ondersteunt de steen tijdens verplaatsing. Met een lichte aanraking van de lampbehuizing wordt het licht in- of uitgeschakeld, en door een hand voor de lamp te houden wordt de helderheid aangepast.

- The lamp body is crafted from a solid piece of Spanish cloud stone shaped by CNC carving, with a transparent protective coating applied to the surface. The base is formed through traditional sand-casting to create the metal frame, integrating wireless charging modules and lithium battery packs internally. The cloud stone and metal structure are connected with hidden snap-fit fasteners, while all wiring is enclosed within the frame, seamlessly integrating functionality and aesthetics.

- The most challenging aspect of this design was balancing the substantial texture of natural cloud stone with the structural strength required for portability. To ensure the stability of the fragile stone during mobile use, the team conducted repeated tests and ultimately adopted a composite structure with a hidden metal frame and partial lining. This solution maintains the stone's visual integrity while meeting the mechanical demands of portable usage.
