Happy Excursion is een modelwoning-interieur in Shenzhen, China, met een oppervlakte van ongeveer 418 vierkante meter. De tentoonstellingsruimte integreert wind, licht en water om mensen met de natuur te verbinden. De vloer heeft een blauwe natuursteentextuur die een kalme rivier onder de voeten van bezoekers suggereert. Een driedimensionale wand van Fantasy White Jade-steen vormt het centrale element, en het oppervlak ervan verandert naarmate het daglicht verschuift. Een dakraampaneel met een lichtfolie creëert zachte lichteffecten. De houten kasten zijn vervaardigd uit geselecteerd, gebeitst en afgewerkt houtfineer.

- To enhance the natural beauty and luxurious feel of the wooden cabinets, the designer meticulously oversees each step of the process, from selecting the wood veneer and dyeing it to arranging the wood grain and applying the finish. The goal is to achieve a perfect harmony between nature and sophistication.

- The undulating patterns of the end wall gracefully extend into the corridor, beautifully complementing the soft linen curtains and the striking main art wall, which together foster an atmosphere of dramatic tension. The vibrant Amazon green floor, reminiscent of gentle waves, radiates warmth and vitality, collaborating with the layered landscape painting curtains to create a captivating focal point. Meanwhile, the skylight panel utilizes an innovative light film technique, casting enchanting lighting effects that infuse the space with energy and lend it a light, ethereal quality.

- Nestled in the vibrant heart of Shenzhen's development area, this project draws inspiration from the timeless design philosophies of Butterfly Isle, Northern Abyss, and Whale Cliff, as found in Zhuangzi book A Happy Excursion. It seeks to cultivate an environment that embodies a sense of freedom and tranquility, liberated from the burdens of modern life.
