Over Little Fairy Illustratiereeks

Little Fairy is een illustratiereeks waarin bloemen worden gepersonifieerd als vrouwen die de qipao dragen, een traditionele Chinese jurk. Elke figuur is gebaseerd op een studie van het karakter en de stemming die bij een bepaalde bloem hoort. De afbeeldingen zijn getekend met computer-vectorsoftware. Een lijst omringt elke scène en suggereert een venster, wat de afbeelding een gevoel van diepte geeft. Patronen aan weerszijden van de lijst zijn ontleend aan traditionele Chinese motieven en worden weergegeven in reliëf. De reeks verbindt traditionele cultuur met modern design om de schoonheid van de Chinese kunst te delen.

Onderzoek: Flower fairy series of illustrations will be in the image of Chinese traditional cheongsam women personified image design. After studying the characters, feelings and styles represented by different flowers, the designer used computer vector rendering technology to draw a series of flower personification. The work simulates the form of ancient people in the window in the way of frame, creating a proper sense of space in the picture.
