Over Kaisa Yuebanshan Gemeenschapscentrum

Kaisa Yuebanshan is een gemeenschapscentrum in Zhongshan, China. Het gebouw beslaat 2100 vierkante meter en is verdeeld over twee verdiepingen. Een volume van drie verdiepingen verbindt twee terrassen met een hoogteverschil van ongeveer vier meter. Het ontwerp is geïnspireerd op de lokale Lingnan-architectuur, met onder andere patioruimtes en gebogen wanden. Boogvormige witte wanden worden herhaald om de gevel een zachte en ritmische uitstraling te geven. Een overspanning van 12 meter en een uitkraging van 5 meter houden het interieur open. Onderzoek: The designers modernized the combination of the traditional Sishuiguitang patio space with the traditional elements of the Lingnan arc-shaped wok and translated it into the building to create the main shape element of the facade-the arc-shaped wall. Inspiratie: The designers have excavated the local culture of Zhongshan and absorbed the architectural layout and cultural connotation of the Chen Family Ancestral Hall. They hope that the Life Aesthetics Hall will also have a multi-dimensional space to accommodate the daily real public life of the crowd. Based on the warm climate of Lingnan, architecture and landscape are closely related.
