Over Leaves Clubhuis

Leaves is een clubhuis voor een woongemeenschap, gelegen halverwege een berg in Changsha, China. Het interieur beslaat 2000 vierkante meter verdeeld over twee verdiepingen. De eerste verdieping omvat een ontvangstlobby, een zwembad en een fitnessruimte, en de tweede verdieping is een ontspanningsruimte met een boekenbar. Een lichtinstallatie van op maat gemaakte LED-bladeren wordt gedragen door wit gelakte aluminium staalkabels die tevens als geleiders fungeren. Lichtregeltechnologie verandert de gloed van elk blad om de herfstwind na te bootsen. Het golvende plafond van het voormalige gebouw is behouden om te herinneren aan een glooiende berg.

Unieke Eigenschappen: This is a community club, which is located halfway up a mountain. The scene of wind blowing leaves in autumn is the most beautiful here. Therefore, the lighting installation of wind blowing leaves in the room, and use the lighting control technology to imitate the state of wind blowing leaves.

Productietechnologie: We custom made LED lights in the shape of the leaves, using white painted aluminum steel cables hold the leaves and act as conductors to make them glow. Finally, light control technology is used to imitate the state of wind blowing leaves.
Ontwerpuitdaging: The biggest challenge in this project is the light control technology, which controls the movement track and direction of the light of each leaf. In order to show the autumn wind blowing the scene of leaves.
Onderzoek: Located in Changsha, China, this project neighbors Yuehu Park and Colorful World, and lies against a large massif park abundant in natural resources.Fully respecting Changsha s native landforms and what the city has to offer culturally, the design seeks to integrate local massifs and structures, which are a source of inspiration for this project, into indoor spaces. Beyond that, the rolling ceiling of the former building is retained as a means to mirror what a wavy mountain is like.

Projectduur: The project started in August 2019 in Changsha and finished in June 2020 in Changsha, and was exhibited in Changsha inJune 2020.
Werkproces: This is a community club halfway up the hill in Changsha,China.As a community club, this project has two floors. The first floor comprises a reception lobby and recreation areas like the swimming pool and gymnasium. The second floor is a leisure area of the book bar.
