Dit is een serie posterontwerpen die Rui Ma heeft gemaakt om het bewustzijn van het behoud van biodiversiteit te vergroten. De posters zijn ontworpen als acht manieren om de biodiversiteit in zowel de Engelse als de Chinese taal te beschermen. Het omvat: Help de bijen, bescherm de natuur, plant een plant, steun boerderijen, bespaar water, recycle en hergebruik, maak een wandeling, bezoek botanische tuinen.

- This is a series of poster designs Rui Ma created to raise the awareness of conserving biodiversity. The posters are designed as eight ways to protect biodiversity in both the English and Chinese languages. It includes: “Help the Bees”, “Protect Nature”, “Plant a Plant”, “Support Farms”, “Conserve Water”, “Recycle and Reuse”, “Take a Walk”, “Visit Botanical Gardens”.

- I am always thinking: How visual communication design could help with solving environmental problems? After doing some research online, I decided to make this series of posters to visually attract people's attention and encourage everyone to participate in making our environment better. The design was created entirely digital and paperless. In this way, the production would be without a physical printing process, and the audiences can view it through the internet.

- The most challenging part of this project would be the selection of subjects. There are plenty of environmental problems that we need to pay attention to. In the end, I decided to choose the subject: ways to protect biodiversity, because biodiversity provides healthy ecosystems that are really important to the earth.

- The inspiration was from a film about saving the world by protecting the environment. By educating herself on how to protect biodiversity, Rui Ma created a series of posters to raise awareness of conserving biodiversity through visual communication design.
