Is-saqaf huwa miżbugħ iswed biex jenfasizza d-dwal lineari u dawk sferiċi li jidhru qishom qed jgħumu. Il-ħitan huma miksijin b'pitturi biż-żejt li juru stejjer Ċiniżi antiki, flimkien ma' mudelli ġeometriċi u madum tal-art grafiku.
