As a result of the friction on the fibre surfaces, the kinetic energy of the noise is dissipated as heat energy. The highly-compressed bres support this effect much more than conventional materials. Following acoustic office projects we decided to add the acoustic feature to our furniture. What inspired us to use acoustic was the noise inside a nursery school as well as its softness which makes it safer for children in case the get hit by it.
