Mō Lumin Wave Rama Tārere
Ko Lumin Wave he rama tārere i hoahoatia mō ngā ruma noho o ēnei rā. Ko te āhua poutū e whakaawe ana i te ia ataata o ngā ngaru oro. Ka whakangāwaritia te horapa o te māramatanga e tētahi whakamārama kōhao koiri, ā, ka tāpirihia hoki he hōhonutanga ā-wāhi. Kua whakakotahitia te konumohe paraihe me te rākau kia tau ai te tairite ā-kanohi. Ko te tinana rākau i mahia ā-CNC, ā, ko ngā taipitopito whakarewa i tapahia ā-hihi. I whanaketia te āhua ngaru mā te tauira parametric. Ko ngā waega LED kua whakaurua e whakaputa ana i te whakamārama ōrite, ā, ka taea te whakarite i te tae me te kanapatanga o te māramatanga. E 1800 mm te roa, 100 mm hoki te whānui porowhita o te rama.
Te Whakamihi
Mō te A' Design Award Parahi
Ko Lumin Wave Rama Tārere te toa o te A' Design Award Parahi, he whakaaetanga tino whai mana e hoatu ana ki ngā hoahoa kōeke e tohua ana mā te auaha, te mahi mōhio me te whakaaro hōhonu. Ko ngā toa Parahi he mahi pukenga e rite ana, he auaha mīharo, e whakatūturu ana i te wheako nui, te whakaaro me te mōhio-ā-ringa o ā rātou kaihoahoa. E tūmanakohia ana ko Lumin Wave Rama Tārere he taonga whakanuia, whakamīharotia, aroha nui, he ngaio, he auaha hoki. Ko tēnei hoahoa i toa i te Parahi e whakauru ana i ngā tikanga pai rawa i te toi, te pūtaiao, te hoahoa me te hangarau, ā, he tino mīharo ki ngā taipitopito. Ka whakatutuki a Lumin Wave Rama Tārere i ngā hiahia, ka pā ki ngā hiahia, ka whakaoho i ngā kare-ā-roto, ā, ka kume i te pākiki.

- Hangarau Whakanao
- The design was crafted using CNC-machined wooden bodies and laser-cut metal details. Light modules were integrated with specialized optical elements for diffusion and directional optimization. The wave form was generated through parametric modeling techniques, ensuring precision in manufacturing. High-efficiency LED technology was optimized for thermal management and longevity. Material selection prioritized aesthetics, durability, and sustainability, balancing functionality with an innovative visual language.
- Wero Hoahoa
- The biggest challenge in this design process was balancing aesthetics, functionality, and manufacturability. Creating a seamless parametric form while ensuring structural integrity and efficient light distribution required extensive prototyping and testing. Limited material options and sustainable production constraints added complexity. Additionally, adapting the design to evolving lighting technology and regulatory standards demanded continuous refinement. Overcoming these challenges led to an innovative, user-centered lighting solution that redefines spatial ambiance.
- Rangahau
- This design is an innovative lighting element that combines aesthetics and functionality. Created using natural materials and parametric forms, it enhances spatial perception while providing a warm and inviting ambiance. The research process focused on user experience, resulting in an optimized design in terms of ergonomics and light distribution. Adaptable to modern interiors, this piece introduces a fresh perspective to the lighting industry.
- Whakaaweawe
- This design was inspired by the visual rhythm of sound waves, reflecting the interplay between light and form. Motivated by the belief that lighting can serve as both a functional and artistic medium, I explored innovative approaches to material use and production methods. My background in industrial design guided the integration of aesthetics and engineering to enhance spatial perception through sensory experience.
- Roanga o te Kaupapa
- The design process of Lumin Wave started in March 2025 and was completed in April 2025 in Istanbul, Turkey.
- Rerenga Mahi
- This lighting design is an innovative solution that adds a warm atmosphere to the space by being suspended from the ceiling. The wave-shaped details enrich the light distribution, while the integrated LED modules provide a homogeneous and eye-friendly illumination. Users can adjust the light color and brightness to create different ambiances. Thanks to its high-quality materials and energy-efficient structure, it offers a long-lasting and sustainable lighting experience.
