Par 314 Pi Vīna Etiķetes Dizains
Eksperimenti ar vīna degustāciju ir nebeidzams process, kas ved uz jauniem ceļiem un atšķirīgiem aromātiem. Bezgalīgā pi secība, neracionālais cipars ar bezgalīgajām decimālzīmēm, nezinot pēdējo no tām, bija iedvesma šo vīnu nosaukumam bez sulfītiem. Dizaina mērķis ir likt uzmanības centrā 3,14 vīna sēriju īpašības, nevis paslēpt tās starp attēliem vai grafikām. Pēc minimālistiskas un vienkāršas pieejas etiķete parāda tikai šo dabīgo vīnu patiesās īpašības, kā tos var novērot vīndarības piezīmju grāmatiņā.

- This project is a packaging design for a series of experimental, organic wines without sulfites. A pure, natural wine connected with a simple and authentic idea, to showcase in a very minimalistic approach only the core information linked to the product, as observed in a chemist's notes.

- the experimental wines is a new and interesting part of enology so we had to discuss a lot with our client as to understand the benefits and the specialty of this kind of wines.
- Pētījums
- Winemakers have been adding sulfur to wine for hundreds of years to help prevent it from spoiling. Sulfites are naturally occurring compounds that plants produce to protect themselves from microbial infection. In winemaking, sulfur dioxide is released during fermentation. The certain winemaker runs a strictly organic farm, and the wines with no added sulfites were a challenge for them and also for us how to approach the label design. So, simply and honestly listing the characteristics of the wine with the signature of the oenologist on the label was the key idea for the design.
- Iedvesma
- Experimenting with the taste of wine is a never-ending process. The number 314 pi with endless digits was the inspiration for the name. Our goal was to design a label with a minimal and simple approach presenting only the characteristics of these natural wines. The label features as an Oenologist‘s notes tab while the specialty of the wine is stamped through the green colors.
- Projekta ilgums
- The project started in October of 2018 in Heraklion, Greece and finished in December of 2018. The wines were in the local and European market early of 2019.
