Book Text: „Light Surge“ – tai moteriškų drabužių kolekcija, jungianti optinį pluoštą su aprangos audiniais. Dizainas tyrinėja medžiagų, technologijų ir aprangos tarpusavio ryšį. Optinio pluošto audinys, kabantys pluoštai bei rankomis siūtos kristalų grandinėlės aplink kūną formuoja trimatę struktūrą. Į drabužio struktūrą įterptos LED juostelės. Šviesos spalva ir ryškumas kinta tarp mėlynos ir baltos. Veikia iš anksto nustatyta programa, valdoma jungikliu, o mobiliojo telefono programėlė leidžia valdyti ribotame diapazone. Kolekciją įkvėpė švytintys jūrų gyvūnai.

Tyrimas: The design of the work comes from a photograph of a sea slug eating a silver coin jellyfish by photographer Gary Bell Minden. From the silhouette and structure of the garment and the presentation of light, I combine hand-stitched drill chains, garment structure inlaid LED strips and fiber-optic cloth. The three-dimensional knot made of optical fiber cloth and the hanging optical fiber make the clothing shape present a sensual spirit.
