Iwwer Xtension Verstellbar Luucht

Xtension ass eng verstellbar Luucht, déi fir Haiser an ëffentlech Raim entworf gouf. D'Luucht verlängert sech vun 1500 mm op 3000 mm a fiert sech nees an, wärend sphäresch Verrigelungspunkten et erlaben, se op ongläich Uewerflächen ze befestegen. De Kierper ass aus Aluminium a Stol gemaach, an d'dréinend Käpp op béide Enne sinn aus verchromtem oder gebürsteltem Stol. Dräi baussenzeg LED-Sträifen an eng bannenzeg LED-Staang liwweren dimmbart Faarflicht, dat iwwer eng mobil Applikatioun mat enger Bluetooth-Verbindung agestallt gëtt. Xtension kann als Plafongsluucht, als Buedemluucht, als Trennungsluucht oder, an engem Cluster, als Signalluucht déngen.

Eenzegaarteg Eegeschaften: Xtension is the first completely adjustable lamp in all its forms. It can extend and retract and be fastened to uneven surfaces thanks to its spherical latch points. This makes it capable of become a living object in one’s decor. When installed in a cluster it can become an element of communication, since its LEDs are programmable. Thus it becomes a signal light saying what is going on behind a door, like if a washroom is occupied, or indicate directions of intended travel. The combinations are limitless and can also be applied to art. All attached variables can be controlled via cell phone app.
Dimensiounen & Verpackung: W100mm x D100mm x H1500mm
In particular
Length:from 1500mm to 3000 mm.
Diameter,including extension poles: 100mm.

The sale will be done via a tube shaped package with a carrying strap which makes the case a carrier for designs and projects. Externally BUILD YOUR SPACE will be written in reference to the possibility of creating and characterizing spaces with the lamp.

Produktiounstechnologie: The body is in aluminum and steel with a brushed or polished finished. The 3 rails allow the lights to extend and retract. The light sources are 3 LED strips on the outside and a LED bar in the inside. The LED can dim and are rgb. The rotating heads at the extremities are in chromed or brushed steel. The extremities also house the electronics that regulate the LED with a remote Bluetooth connection.
Design Erausfuerderung: My research was to give a more interesting and pleasing form, poetic almost, to a project that seems to conclude naturally with the technological development. The materials, the dimensions and the choice of functions and technologies to include are all critical to the objective, alongside creating and intelligent object by form and high tech content. The tech here is a function, not the essence of xtension: not just a lamp but a different way of decorating.
Fuerschung: My project was based on the will to create conceptually intelligent objects. As opposed to tech intelligence, I believe that the insertion of intelligence has to come before connectivity, electricity and automatism. The object needs to speak to its user at first impact, via its form, its conceptual and constructive essence. The user was to be able to imagine and guide the use of objects, not rely on the logic of a manual.
Inspiratioun: Architecture and inspiration travel hand in hand. In this case the basic mechanism was inspired by the objects I saw used to make damaged buildings stable during repairs after the 2009 L’Aquila earthquake. The same mechanism allows one to extend a light from 1500 mm to 3000 mm allowing it to be put in any household room. There is also the possibility of creating larger versions for commercial purposes.
Projetdauer: The project started in Febrary 2016 and finished in October 2016 In Teramo.
Operatiounsablaf: The installation is the most interesting part of the project. The lamp can be a ceiling light, a floor lamp, a dividing light, an art object. Once the intended use is decided amd the object anchored, al the light parameters can be set via app: visual comfort, colour, static or dynamic light. These can all be progammed from your device. This makes extension not only a domestic object but one for public spaces as well.
