스타 글라스웨어 시리즈는 둥근 베이스와 외측 링을 결합하여 안정성을 더한 유려한 형태로 디자인되었습니다. 이 컬렉션은 스태킹 가능하고 모듈형 디자인 컨셉을 기반으로 합니다. 붕규산 유리로 제작된 이 시리즈는 세 가지 크기로 구성됩니다. 식기세척기 사용이 가능하며 우수한 투명도를 자랑하고 다양한 색상으로 제공됩니다. 유리는 재활용 가능하며, 패키징은 재생 판지로 제작되었습니다.

고유 특성: A super simple and yet strikingly elegant drinking glass collection for every occasion. Based on a stackable and modular design concept it comes in three different sizes and many different colours. Star is made from borosilicate glass. This dishwasher safe material has high transparency and a lot of depth. It sets the scene and helps to present the content appropriately making every drink special. Cheers!

생산 기술: The Star glassware series is made from borosilicate glass. The material is known for its strength, durability and temperature resistance. The glass can be moulded and crafted in a variety of very different shapes and thicknesses. It is an infinitely recyclable material that can be re-melted again and again minimizing waste and environmental impact. The packaging is made from recycled cardboard.
디자인 과제: The main challenge was the necessity to create a series of modular and stackable drinking glasses in different sizes that also explore the formal possibilities of the material and make a visual statement.
연구: The design process was based on conceptual and formal research aimed at understanding material properties and opportunities of the category.
Product development and refinement through traditional sketching and 3D modelling.
영감: The inner and outer volume follow the exact same flowing, rounded gesture. This shape is also playing on the original idea of the tumbler. A drinking glass for many different drinks, commonly with a flat base. But initially with a pointed or rounded base. So, this proposal combines the rounded base with a pointed external ring for added stability. Just stellar!
프로젝트 기간: The project was designed in Italy during the summer of 2024 as a quick side study for Officina Endorfino. A free exploration and exercise in glassware design.
