Senja 오두막 소개

센야(Senja)는 노르웨이 북부의 작은 어촌 마을 인근에 지어진 가족용 오두막이다. 이 디자인은 큰 바위 아래에 은신처를 만들던 사미족의 헬러(Heller) 전통에서 영감을 얻었다. 건물 외피는 돌을 닮은 형태로 인근 산세를 따르는 선을 그리며, 풍경을 향한 대형 파노라마 창을 품고 있다. 목재 파사드는 주변 환경과 어우러지도록 짙은 회색으로 칠해졌다. 주 출입구는 건물 매스를 파내어 만들어져 아늑한 외부 공간을 형성한다. 실내에서는 소나무 벽과 오크 바닥, 그리고 목재 살대 천장이 벽난로를 감싸고 있다.

고유 특성: The cabin is located near a small fishing village called Hamn. On this site the client wanted a family cottage with panoramic views to Senja's stunning mountains and nature.
In such a beautiful and delicate landscape, it is important to build with nature and create a project that feels like a part of landscape.

생산 기술: The cabin has a wooden facade painted in dark grey to naturally blend in with the surrounding nature. The windows are made of wood/aluminium with details in steel to protect from the harsh winterstorms. The main entrance in carved into the building mass and creates a sheltered space to relax.

Inside the cabin the walls are covered with pine boards, oak floors and a 45x45 wooden slated ceiling. This creates a warm and cozy atmosphere to relax by the fireplace.

디자인 과제: Adopting to a delicate landscape
연구: By studying old Sami building traditions, we found the ancient tradition of “Heller” where Sami*s would find shelter and build a cottage under large rocks. By shaping the building envelope like a stone with natural lines similar to the mountains, one could make a large panorama window in this shape. The project then becomes a "rock with a view" that settles naturally in the terrain - hidden by the forest from neighbours and the main road. Still on the inside of the cabin you feel like being part of nature.

운영 흐름: The cabin is designed specifically to open ut to nature with panoramic views to the surrounding mountains. As the the weather can change drastically in hours it is important to have the option of both a sheltered outdoor space - and a climatized indoor space where you feel part of nature. At the dinner table, one gathers the family with a view a panoramic view of the mountains - the lines between inside and outside have been blurred and the space changes in tune with the light and landscape.
