Eleware 식기 세트 소개

Eleware는 중국의 현대적인 식문화를 위해 디자인된 식기 세트이다. 이 세트는 시간이 흐르며 변화하는 전통 식사 예절의 방식에 대응한다. Eleware는 각기 다른 형태를 지닌 세 가지 기물로 구성된다. 뼈 접시는 높이를 높여 뼈를 뱉을 때 얼굴과 뼈가 가려지도록 했다. 음식 접시는 바닥면을 기울여 음식에서 기름이 걸러지도록 돕는다. 그릇은 찻잔과 동일한 곡선을 따라 만들어져 국물을 차처럼 음미할 수 있다. 각 기물은 점토로 제작되었으며 물레 성형 기법으로 형태를 잡았다.

고유 특성: Because of the globalization, influenced by different cultures, the traditional Chinese dining etiquette is changing through times. Eleware is a set of tableware combining current modern dining culture of China and design together to make dining process more elegant and less embarrassing. It has three innovative shapes- increasing the height of the plate to hide face and bones when spitting out bones, using inclined bottom to help filter out oil on the food and adopting the same curve as teacups to make people enjoy their soup like tea.

디자인 과제: The hardest part of Eleware is the process of evaluation and getting feedback from different users. As different people have different feelings and opinions, it's hard to decide the right suggestions for me. The solution is to ask more questions to find the reasons behind the suggestions and evaluate the shape based on those reasons

영감: This project was inspired by the culture and ritual in tableware design and how it's influencing the shape of culinary. As traditional culture and ritual are changing over time, the shape of the tableware should also change to fit the current cultural environment and make dining process less embarrassing.
프로젝트 기간: The project started in April 2017 in China and finished in August 2018 in China
운영 흐름: It has three functions. The bone plate can hide your face and bones when spitting out bones. The food plate can filter out oil by the inclined bottom. The bowl has the same curve as teacups to make people enjoy their soup like tea.
